Training & Development

All our training opportunities are written specifically for the school requesting them. They are created in response to information-gathering about your school's particular character and values. We can provide training in any format, time or timeslot, although we strongly advise that the training be in-person in order to facilitate discussion.

Our training does not end on the day. We hope to provide ongoing updates on AI development, as well as be there to support you as you continue your own discussions.

If you would like further information or to discuss a possible opportunity, please use the contact form below for an initial enquiry.

Fees

As we are independent of Big Tech and government, we do have to charge for what we have to provide. However, as we are not one of the larger consultancy firms, we believe our charges to be affordable and realistic, based on the pressures schools currently face. We would like to offer this work pro bono, but are not lucky enough to  yet be able to do so.

Please get in contact to discuss what we can provide.

Safeguarding and PSHE Training

We can provide an in-person update to some of the emerging safeguarding risks around AI. We can help you to explore your responses to potential scenarios, guided by the articulation of the school's core values.

2

INSET

Either as part of an INSET programme or as after-hours or lunchtime sessions, we can help to demystify the world of AI, explore some of its controversies and limitations, and work on helping to support classroom discussion. Every programme is written for the needs of the individual school.

3

Student Programmes

We can provide presentations and structured seminars, extension lectures and half-day research/critical thinking programmes. We will fit the format to your requirements.

All of our training is referenced against the PSHE Association curriculum and 'Education for a Connected World'.

Coming soon: we are also building a resource bank of lesson plans and an AI Ethical Literacy curriculum so that the exploration and discussion can continue after our initial contribution. We welcome any feedback or suggestions that can help to develop this.

4

Senior Management

Using our experience helping governments and business to define their narrative, we offer SMT training on how to develop and articulate the school's core values in response to AI. We help you to develop a strategy that will communicate and embody those values to the parent and student body.

5

Parental Engagement

A recent survey said that 60% of parents had not had any communication from school on the subject of AI. We can provide information evening presentations to help explore the questions AI poses for the parents of the first generation, working in tandem with any school policy and vision already in place.
